The Wolseley Hospitality Group has appointed Laura Mills as managing director, putting an experienced hospitality operator in charge of one of London’s best-known all-day dining portfolios.

Mills joins the business after most recently serving as managing director of The Ivy Collection. The group said she brings almost 15 years of senior leadership experience in hospitality, alongside a management style focused on team development and long-term talent retention.

In a statement accompanying the announcement, Mills said The Wolseley Hospitality Group had long stood out to her for pairing European-style grandeur with a warm British welcome. She said her priority would be to protect what makes the restaurants distinctive, support the teams behind them and help guide the business into its next phase.

Founded in 2003, the company operates a collection of established London venues including The Wolseley, The Wolseley City, The Delaunay, Brasserie Zédel, Colbert, Fischer’s, Bellanger, Soutine and Manzi’s of Soho. The group has built its reputation around polished service, characterful interiors and an all-day restaurant format spanning breakfast, lunch, dinner and special occasions.

The Wolseley Hospitality Group is owned by MINT, the parent company of Minor Hotels. According to Minor Hotels, the wider hospitality company operates and has committed development across more than 640 hotels, resorts and branded residences in 67 countries, alongside restaurant, travel and wellness businesses.

The appointment hands Mills responsibility for a restaurant group whose brands are closely associated with London dining, as the operator looks to preserve its established identity while preparing for its next chapter under new day-to-day leadership.
