Talent Corps Launches Department of Labor Electrician Apprenticeship Program
Talent Corps strengthens its commitment to workforce development through a four-year apprenticeship program designed to train the next generation of skilled electricians and help meet the growing demand for qualified electrical talent.
New program reinforces Talent Corps' commitment to developing skilled tradesmen and delivering qualified electrical talent to commercial construction customers
Talent Corps, a leading provider of skilled-trades workforce solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of its Department of Labor approved Electrician Apprenticeship Program, a major step in the company's continued commitment to Strengthening America's Workforce.
The program is designed to help develop and train the next generation of skilled electricians by combining structured instruction with real-world job site experience. Over the course of four years, participating apprentices will complete approximately 8,000 hours of on-the-job training while gaining the skills, safety knowledge, and field experience needed to build long-term careers in the electrical trade.
As one of the few skilled-trades staffing companies offering a Department of Labor Electrician Apprenticeship Program, Talent Corps is helping address one of the construction industry's most pressing challenges: the shortage of qualified, work-ready tradesmen.
"At Talent Corps, we believe our responsibility goes beyond filling jobs," said Jared DeRuby, CEO of Talent Corps. "We are committed to investing in tradesmen, helping them grow their careers, and giving our customers access to skilled, trained, and safety-minded workers who are prepared to perform on the job site."
The Electrician Apprenticeship Program gives participants the opportunity to earn while they learn, gaining hands-on experience across Talent Corps' customer projects while progressing through a structured development path. The program also gives Talent Corps customers access to a stronger pipeline of qualified electrical talent prepared to meet the demands of commercial construction.
"Talent Corps has the work, the customer relationships, and the field experience to help apprentices develop in real-world environments," said Mark Tower, CCO.
The addition of the apprenticeship program reflects Talent Corps' ongoing investment in workforce innovation. From skills evaluation and safety-focused recruiting to training programs and mobile training capabilities, Talent Corps continues to lead the industry with solutions that support both skilled tradesmen and the commercial construction companies that depend on them.
