Mr. Magpie's Harmless Card Game

Middle Management has two important company announcements. Both have been approved. Neither should cause alarm.

First, Matt Mercer has officially joined the company as the voice of Mr Magpie, the unsettling puppet host of Mr Magpie’s Harmless Card Game, as revealed today in an all-new trailer during the ID@Xbox x IGN Showcase. 

Second, the workplace is expanding. Mr Magpie’s Harmless Card Game is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, alongside PC, and will be available with Xbox Game Pass Day One.

Developed by Giant Light Studios and published by Miss Behaviour (Behaviour Interactive) and Gambit Digital, Mr Magpie’s Harmless Card Game is a surreal corporate horror deckbuilder combining Minesweeper-inspired deduction, push-your-luck mechanics and roguelike deckbuilding, all under the watchful eyes of a smiling puppet who insists everything is perfectly harmless. 

Failure to meet expectations may result in immediate termination. The permanent kind. 

Mr Magpie Has Found His Voice

Following an exhaustive recruitment process, Sunbright Pharmaceuticals is pleased to welcome Matt Mercer as the newest member of its executive team.

His official responsibility? Providing the unsettling vocal performance behind Mr Magpie. Other responsibilities remain confidential.

Known for bringing some of gaming’s most memorable characters to life, Matt Mercer has voiced Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Vincent Valentine in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Minsc in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Vecna in Dead by Daylight.

Now, Mercer brings his vocal talents to Mr Magpie, transforming unsettling mumbles and bloodcurdling noises into the soundtrack of a perfectly harmless workplace.

The new trailer offers players their first taste of Mercer's unsettling performance, alongside a fresh look at the corporate nightmare awaiting them.

The Workplace Is Expanding

Sunbright Pharmaceuticals is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its distribution network.

Mr Magpie’s Harmless Card Game is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, alongside PC. The game will also be available with Xbox Game Pass Day One, with support for Xbox Play Anywhere.

Whether employees choose to report for duty from PC or console, their responsibilities remain unchanged: flip cards, use hints to deduce the location of dangerous JERRY cards, exploit strange synergies and chase increasingly ridiculous multipliers in an effort to make quota before closing time.

Please note that JERRY-related fatalities are not covered by the company's employee benefits program.

 
Availability

Mr Magpie’s Harmless Card Game is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in early 2027, with Xbox Game Pass Day One and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
