Randy Nelson to become President of Sumitomo Biorational Company's Environmental Health Division on January 1, 2027

MINNEAPOLIS, October 20, 2026--MGK, a trusted provider of insect control solutions, today announced that Steve Gullickson, President of the Environmental Health Division of Sumitomo Biorational Company, will step down from his role effective December 31, 2026, and continue supporting the organization as a consultant. Randy Nelson, whose career with MGK spans more than 40 years, will succeed him effective January 1, 2027.

The transition brings together decades of experience and a shared commitment to helping customers solve insect control challenges. Gullickson will remain involved as a consultant to support Nelson and the Environmental Health Division through the leadership transition.

Gullickson joined MGK in 1998 in a sales and marketing role and was appointed President in 2006. Throughout his 28-year career with the business, he helped guide MGK's growth, expand its capabilities and strengthen its position as an insect control partner.

His tenure included MGK's expansion into branded products, beginning with the launch of PyGanic® in crop protection in 2000. The business subsequently broadened its branded portfolio across crop protection, professional products, animal health and vector control.

"Steve's leadership has helped shape MGK's growth and establish a strong foundation for our Environmental Health Division," said Shinsuke 'Shin' Shojima, President and CEO of Sumitomo Biorational Company. "We thank him for his many contributions and the commitment he has brought to our customers, employees and business. Randy's extensive experience and understanding of our organization position him well to lead the division into its next chapter."

Nelson brings a broad perspective developed through roles across manufacturing operations, sales, marketing, customer service, accounting and finance. Having spent his career with MGK, he combines operational and financial experience with a deep understanding of the company's customers, markets and people.

"I am honored to take on this responsibility and build on the foundation Steve and our team have established," said Nelson. "Our customers depend on us for effective insect control solutions, practical expertise and dependable support. I look forward to working with our employees and partners to continue meeting those needs and bringing new solutions to the markets we serve."

MGK's business now operates as the Environmental Health Division of Sumitomo Biorational Company, following the formation of Sumitomo Biorational Company in April 2026. The Environmental Health Division will continue to build on its technical expertise and customer relationships, advancing innovative solutions that address evolving insect control challenges and support long-term growth.
