Weddings and Gift Orders Keep LabEX Busy With Personalised Alcohol Bottle Labels

Sydney, NSW - Oct 08, 2026 (UTC) - Anyone in Sydney who has tried to get a small batch of bottle labels printed knows how awkward it can be. LabEX, a label and sticker printer based in St Peters, does the whole thing through its website. There is no minimum to argue about and nobody to chase for a quote, because the pricing sits on screen and updates as choices are made.

A personalised alcohol bottle order tends to be gin, whisky or wine for a wedding, a birthday or a corporate gift, and those jobs run exactly like a commercial order. The customer picks a size and shape to suit the bottle, chooses paper or synthetic stock, adds a matt or gloss laminate, then uploads the artwork and approves online via the digital editor.. Small distillers use the same route for short production runs. Personalised labels go out within three to five business days.

“Bottle jobs are the ones where people are most nervous about getting it right, because the bottle is usually a present or something for a big day,” a company spokesperson said. “Having the proof on screen makes a real difference there. Customers can see how the label will sit before they approve it, and they can change the size or the finish if it is not quite right. We do plenty of these for weddings around Sydney, and the same setup works just as well for a distillery doing a limited batch.”

Nothing is held in stock, since every job is printed to the artwork the customer sends. FSC-certified paper is available for anyone who wants a recyclable option. Templates and material specs are published on the site, so a designer can check bleed and colour settings before uploading anything.

Bottles that end up in an ice bucket or a fridge are better off with waterproof stickers printed on synthetic stock, which holds up against condensation far better than standard paper does.
