LEHI, Utah, September 01, 2026--Vivint, the leading smart home and security provider, announces Vivint Premium Video, a smarter way to record, store, discover, search, and review your home's most important daily moments and events in the Vivint app.

Vivint Premium Video offers several new AI-powered features that provide timely and intelligent insights and updates on the household moments that matter most, including curated activity feeds, natural language search, optional facial recognition technology and expanded recording and storage.

With Vivint Premium Video, homeowners across the United States can now enjoy a personalized, convenient way to catch up on what's happening at home through regularly curated activity updates in their Vivint app. Customers can also search for a specific event using simple natural language to quickly find the right clip without sifting through hours of video footage.

Available to all Vivint customers starting September 2, 2026, Premium Video also offers increased storage and recording capabilities and year-round access to Vivint's popular holiday chimes for a custom touch to doorbell alerts.

HomeHighlights - a curated experience that organizes important events into easy-to-browse categories based on user preferences, making it easier to quickly review activity.

AI Video Search - a smarter way to search through recorded events using simple natural language to quickly locate specific moments.

Familiar Faces - an optional feature customers can choose to enable within the Vivint's Doorbell Camera Pro settings that allows them to set up a limited field of view to recognize faces of frequent visitors and associate a name or other identifier to those familiar faces they choose for more personalized notifications within their Vivint system.
