Tillo Partners with GiftWellSoon to Bring Needs-Based Gift Card Support to Care Recipients and Their Communities

Partnership gives caretakers and supporters an easier way to help with groceries, meals, transportation and other everyday expenses during illness, loss and major life challenges.

Tillo, the global gift card, rewards and incentives platform, today announced a partnership with GiftWellSoon, a care-focused gift registry platform offering practical, meaningful assistance for individuals and families navigating life's hardest moments. Through the partnership, GiftWellSoon users can now include gift card options from Tillo's global network within their care registries, making it easier for friends, family and communities to provide practical support tailored to each recipient's needs.

GiftWellSoon enables people facing illness, loss or other major life events to create free registries for practical support and resources, including cash funds, meal delivery, transportation and more. The registries let users share as much or as little as they're comfortable with and list exactly what would make a difference, removing the pressure of coordinating support or asking for help directly.

"The most helpful gifts answer a need that the recipient has actually expressed," said Amy Steinhour, Founder and CEO of GiftWellSoon. "As a breast cancer survivor and a caretaker for someone who passed from breast cancer, I know how challenging it can be to both ask for help and coordinate it on someone's behalf. Our goal at GiftWellSoon is to make that experience as simple as possible, and our partnership with Tillo has enabled us to do that by providing easy access to these resources and ensuring that recipients are getting the support they need."

Powered by Tillo's ChoicePlus solution, GiftWellSoon registries now include a curated selection of more than 30 gift card options organized by common care needs – from dining and meal support to groceries, travel expenses and other everyday essentials. Users can access a variety of gifting options in one place, so support can be delivered quickly and without added decision-making during already difficult times.

"GiftWellSoon is addressing a challenge that many people face but rarely know how to solve. During life's most difficult moments, loved ones want to help but often don't know what's needed most," said Alex Preece, CEO and Co-founder of Tillo. "Our network gives GiftWellSoon's users flexible options that map back to the everyday costs people are actually facing, making it easier for communities to immediately show up and deliver support whenever and wherever it's needed."

Since starting its partnership with Tillo, GiftWellSoon has seen registries grow 40% month over month, with supporters contributing an average of $2,000 in the first 30 days of a registry being posted. By embedding gift card options directly into each registry, the platform reduces an extra layer of coordination for supporters, making it easier for a care network, even one spread across cities or countries, to coordinate meaningful help.
