Simplify Alpha Expands Partnership with ServiceNow to Build Payer-Specific Solutions

ServiceNow

Joint development brings payer domain expertise and AI-powered workflows to claims, appeals and grievances, and provider data management

AURORA, Ill., October 19, 2026--Simplify Alpha™, a Simplify Group™ company, today announced the next phase of its partnership with ServiceNow, the Super Intelligence Control Tower for business reinvention, to develop payer-specific, out-of-the-box solutions for health plans. The collaboration brings together Simplify Alpha's payer domain expertise and the ServiceNow AI Platform to connect data, decisions, and workflows across payer operations and help transform legacy operational areas like claims exception management, appeals and grievances, provider data management, and several others.

Building on the partnership announced in April 2026, the companies will focus joint development in these areas. The solutions will be distributed through ServiceNow, giving health plans a path to adopt reusable capabilities for recurring operational needs.

The development focus includes coordinating claims exceptions and follow-up, managing appeals and grievances workflows, and improving the consistency of provider information across systems, all with AI capabilities to help make these workflows more intelligent and efficient. These solutions will be designed to help health plans reduce manual handoffs, strengthen operational consistency, and respond more effectively to members and providers with human visibility while still maximizing where technology can offer efficiency.

"Health plans need solutions that reflect how payer operations actually work, including the handoffs between contracts, configuration, claims, and service," said Anup Panthaloor, Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, Simplify Alpha. "Our partnership with ServiceNow combines that domain knowledge with intelligent enterprise workflow capabilities to build reusable solutions around health plans' existing systems. Together, we're helping teams resolve operational issues and dedicate more time to members and providers."

The announcement follows Simplify Connect™ 2026, where Simplify Group presented its Payer AI Platform and prebuilt Payer Ontology. The ontology provides shared business context for payer data, while Xperience1™ supports member and provider engagement. These capabilities inform the partnership's focus on connecting payer intelligence with enterprise workflows.

"The value of better claims and service operations is felt by both members and providers," said Milind Shah, Head of Healthcare Payer, ServiceNow. "Health plans need to connect information with timely action so they can respond when people need support. Together with Simplify Alpha™, we're turning payer insights into coordinated actions across the health plan, so the right resources reach the right members and providers at the right time. That means rethinking legacy operations rather than simply layering technology on top of them. By bringing intelligent workflows into these core areas, this partnership helps health plans question whether those operations have to run the same way they always have and build something better."
