Routific brings smart delivery route optimization to Shopify merchants

Just ahead of the holiday rush, when local delivery volumes spike, Routific, the smart route optimization and delivery management platform for growing delivery businesses, has released a new app in the Shopify App Store. It gives Shopify merchants a two-way connection between their store and their delivery routes, and it takes minutes to set up.

For Shopify merchants who handle their own delivery, Routific turns orders into optimized delivery routes in minutes, weighing driver familiarity, business time windows, and historical traffic to produce accurate arrival times. Merchants can dispatch routes to drivers in a click, track progress live, and keep customers updated with real-time tracking links and branded notifications, all in one place. When a delivery is done, Routific can automatically update the delivery status back in Shopify. Routific users can cut their delivery costs by up to 25% compared with manual planning.

The new app in the Shopify App Store is already in use by merchants around the world. Routific is the highest-rated route planning software on Capterra, with 4.9 stars from 144 reviews as of October 2026.

Flourist is a mill and bakery that stone-mills organic flour from Canadian grains to order. It delivers flour, fresh sourdough bread, produce, and kitchen staples across Greater Vancouver.

"We started local delivery when folks were stuck at home in March of 2020 and had it running within days thanks to Routific.
