Scheduled for October 29, the retro-style action platformer from Brazilian developer TwinkleSoft also celebrates the milestone of 10,000 wishlists on Steam
The charming and challenging RoboGAL: Gaga Delta Lady, an 8-bit action platformer developed by Brazilian studio TwinkleSoft and published by Nuntius Games, promises to delight players not only with its charming gameplay but also with its original soundtrack when it officially launches on Steam on October 29.

The development team has shared detailed insights into the inspirations behind the game’s music, composed by Neoware. Spanning genres such as jazz, jazz fusion, and electronic music, the tracks will also be featured on a music album scheduled to release on digital platforms in the near future.

Melodies That Will Stick in Players’ Minds
Ever since RoboGAL: Gaga Delta Lady was announced, keen-eared fans have noticed that, despite its 8-bit visuals, the game draws much of its musical inspiration from the original PlayStation era. This was a deliberate creative decision by the development team, with classics such as Mega Man 8 serving as a key reference.
Composer Neoware took this direction into account while also incorporating his own musical background and influences from artists such as Yousuke Yasui (Mamorukun Curse and Mega Man Network Transmission), ZUN (Touhou Project), and even the renowned Japanese instrumental band Casiopea.

According to Neoware, working on RoboGAL: Gaga Delta Lady was a valuable learning experience, especially because it was his first professional project handling both the music and all sound effects for a commercial release.
“It’s very rewarding to see the results in-game. I learned a great deal about maintaining consistency across arrangements and about audio balancing to keep all tracks at a consistent volume using a LUFS meter,” explains the composer.
“The SFX were particularly challenging, but by combining samples I recorded myself with custom synthesizer presets, I was able to deliver solid work. Over time, I refined my techniques, improved my workflow efficiency, and achieved even more interesting results,” he adds.
