Ordr Launches Ordr Insights at Money20/20, Turning Payments Into Customer Intelligence

Business Wire

LAS VEGAS, October 21, 2026--Today at Money20/20 USA, Ordr launched Ordr Insights, a commerce intelligence suite that turns the payments a business already takes into a complete picture of its customers. Every transaction builds one customer record automatically, giving businesses a single view that can replace the loyalty programs, apps and customer data platforms they pay for today.

Ordr built and proved Ordr Insights in live experiences with sports teams, entertainment properties and hospitality operators where thousands of fans move through dozens of points of sale in a single night. Now Ordr is bringing the same intelligence beyond the stadium, so every business can know its customers as well as a team knows its fans.

Ordr Insights builds a profile for every customer through their payments, with no app to download and no sign up required. Because those profiles build themselves, several teams have already said Ordr Insights can replace their customer data platform, a tool that can cost $150,000 a year on its own. For sports and entertainment organizations, integrations with ticketing platforms, including Ticketmaster, tie every purchase across the night to the person in the seat. From there, built-in geofencing shows how those customers move around a property and its partner activations, drawing on signals from roughly 230 million devices a day in the United States and 22 million in Canada, while built-in social listening captures what they say online and surfaces an organization's strongest promoters and detractors.

Put together, those purchases and movements show which partner activations actually drive revenue and which ones to cut. And because every activation runs through payments, Ordr Insights can settle the sponsor's payout automatically, closing one of sponsorship's biggest gaps: according to Forrester, 76 percent of sports sponsorship marketers struggle to calculate the ROI of their sponsorships. The same payments also show finance what every transaction really costs, with Ordr Insights reading every payment statement and flagging overcharges, downgrades and chargebacks. Until now, getting that full view meant stitching together more than a half dozen systems and paying for every one of them.

"In our conversations with hundreds of teams, operators and merchants, we found they spend an average of $1.5 million a year piecing together customer data their payments already hold," said Ryan Bott, CEO of Ordr. "So we built the customer record directly on top of the payment. A customer pays the way they always do, and everything else follows from that one swipe."
