Legend of Edda: Pegasus

Free-to-play Greek mythology MMORPG returns on Steam on Friday 6 November at 23:00 UTC, with Sacred War, a Hall of Fame race to the level cap and a costume set designed by a player

21 October 2026 – Independent studio IndigoWare today announced that the Beta of Legend of Edda: Pegasus, its free-to-play MMORPG set in a world of Greek myth, opens on Steam on Friday 6 November 2026 at 23:00 UTC (15:00 PST, 20:00 BRT; 00:00 CET on Saturday 7 November).
 

The game servers have been closed since the Open Alpha ended on 16 October. The team is using the break to fix the bugs players reported, rebalance the game and finish new content before the gates reopen.
 

Players choose a side in the war between Olympus and the Titans, then build a character from three classes, Fighter, Mage and Rogue, each of which branches into two specialisations. Four playable races are available: Humans, Dryopes, Chthonic and Kabeiroi.
 

What is in the Beta
 

• Sacred War. Large faction battles between Olympus and the Titans, held several times a day, in three war modes including Conquest. Wars are split into level brackets so newer players fight others of their level.
• Hall of Fame. The first three players to reach the level cap are named on the official website's Hall of Fame and kept there permanently, with a separate podium for each class. Every character starts fresh when the Beta opens, so the race starts from level 1 for everyone.
• Dungeons, raids and bosses. Daily dungeon runs with difficulty tiers, raid bosses, and party bots that fill an incomplete group so a short party can still go in. Level Sync lets higher-level players join friends in lower dungeons, and a mentor bonus rewards them for doing it.
• Codex. An in-game encyclopedia that records the monsters, pets, mounts and costumes a player has found.
• Titles. Titles are earned by clearing dungeons and raids, exploring field maps and levelling up. Every title a character earns adds its bonus permanently, whichever one is on display.
• Costumes and the Wardrobe. A Wardrobe window (Ctrl+W) stores costumes apart from the regular inventory and lets players preview 127 costume sets. Mounts have their own window too (Ctrl+M).
• A costume designed by a player. IndigoWare runs a monthly costume design contest on the game's Discord. The winning design is built into the game as a wearable set with its designer credited by name, and the first winning set is already in the game.
• Professions. Gathering and crafting trades, fishing among them. Players can switch trades at any time at no cost, and each trade keeps its level.
• Guilds. Guild Points, guild skills, and a Guild Hall that guild leaders can decorate from scratch. Each member gets a room of their own.
• Colosseum. Organised one-on-one PvP.
• New lands. Areas built for this release, including Mirage Citadel, Nereidia Village, Calypso Coast and the Gates of Erebus dungeon. The town of Gaiyan now has a day and night cycle shared by every player.

Founder weekend

Every account that logs in between the opening on Friday 6 November at 23:00 UTC and Sunday 8 November at 23:59 BRT (02:59 UTC on Monday 9 November) will receive the title Founder of Pegasus and the Pegasus Founder costume, a white-and-gold set with folded wings. Both are cosmetic, carry no stat bonus, are tied to the account, and will never be given out again.

Legend of Edda: Pegasus is free to play on Windows through Steam, with optional in-game purchases. The game and its website are available in English and Brazilian Portuguese. Players can add the game to their Steam wishlist now and create an account on the official website before the Beta opens.
