K & T Port-A-John Rentals LTD Makes Outdoor Events More Accessible with Handicap Porta Potty and Trailer Options

North Bay, Canada - Oct 17, 2026 (UTC) - Imagine a backyard wedding in North Bay on a hot August evening. The speeches are over, the music has started, and one guest discreetly asks where the washroom is. For some, especially those using wheelchairs or walking frames, that question could make the difference between staying and leaving. K & T Port-A-John Rentals LTD has spent more than 30 years helping event hosts across North Bay and nearby communities avoid that moment. The family-owned company has served the region since 1992, providing portable toilets, washroom trailers, and sanitation support for events of every size.

Hosts who want a step up from standard units often choose a bathroom trailer rental from the company’s lineup. The Royal Washroom Trailer suits wedding ceremonies and reception halls, with premium countertops and flooring, separate stalls for women and men, porcelain toilets, and hot-and-cold water. Heating and air conditioning maintain a comfortable environment no matter whether the occasion falls in July or late October. The Elite Washroom Trailer offers the same two-stall layout for longer projects and work sites. Alongside the trailers, the company supplies barrier-free portable toilets designed for guests with mobility challenges. Each one has more than 16 square feet of open floor space, a roll-in floor at ground level, an extra-wide door and handrails inside for support.

“Nobody should have to skip a family wedding or leave a festival early because the washroom does not work for them. A barrier-free unit takes up very little extra space on a site, but it changes the whole day for a guest who uses a wheelchair or walker. We help hosts plan the right mix so every person can come and stay,” said a spokesperson for K & T Port-A-John Rentals LTD.

Accessibility is often overlooked when planning an event. Hosts usually consider how many chairs to get, what food to prepare, and which band to book long before they think about how some people may have difficulty accessing the restroom. Wedding parties, community festivals, company picnics, and graduation parties run much more smoothly when the restroom facilities accommodate attendees. All it takes is one handicap porta potty set up to accommodate your special guests. Hosts in North Bay, Callander, Bonfield, Astorville, Cache Bay, and Burk’s Falls can share their guest count, event hours, and site layout when they request a quote. The team then suggests the right number of units and where each one should go, so lineups stay short, and nobody is left out.
