The year was 2016... Two best friends, one an artist and the other a musician, struck a deal. If the artist followed his dream to develop an RPG, the musician would provide the soundtrack. 

Over the years, many others were recruited to help, providing art, code and testing. What started as an idea between two friends was becoming something bigger than they had imagined. 

Finally, eight years and thousands of hours later, HorrorVale was complete. It's a game bursting at the seams with heart and soul, and we at Batworks Software hope that this love for the game shines through as you journey through the underworld with Alice and her friends. 

After initially releasing in 2024 to overwhelmingly positive acclaim on Steam, Batworks Software is now partnering with Publisher Electric Airship to bring HorrorVale to modern consoles with enhanced visuals and features!
