Basketball fans heading to Little Caesars Arena in Detroit for the Detroit Pistons’ 2026–27 season will encounter a considerably broader game-day menu, with new street-food counters, shareable snacks, premium dining dishes and Pistons-themed drinks. The arena’s hospitality partner, Delaware North, is also introducing additional retail collections and shopping experiences, although its October 15 announcement did not specify the new merchandise ranges.
For visitors combining a Detroit trip with a Pistons game, the changes extend the arena experience well beyond the time spent watching basketball. The new food programme takes inspiration from local neighbourhoods while also drawing on Korean, Polish, Japanese and Mexican-influenced dishes, according to Delaware North’s published season preview.
Street food and shareable snacks join the concourse menu
One of the most distinctive additions is the Arena Cantina Pizza Box Nachos, sold at Portable 46. House-fried tortilla chips come with smoked pulled chicken or barbacoa, a choice of Hatch chile queso or white queso and toppings including corn salsa, pickled onions, jalapeños, cotija cheese and lime cream. The tear-open pizza-box presentation is intended for sharing.
At Portable 42, the Meat Lovers Hot Dog combines a cheddar brat wrapped in beef bacon with pulled pork, crispy onions and hot honey. Traditional hot dogs and Coney dogs remain part of the offer.
Motor City Street Lab, located at Portal 28, adds Korean corn dogs, a Street Lab Coney topped with chili cheese Fritos and mustard, and Hamtramck Salchipapa, pairing smoked kielbasa and fries with Jimmy Nardello peppers, cucumber mizeria slaw and horseradish honey mustard. The Foundry Fried Rice combines bacon, kimchi, yum yum sauce and a takoyaki drizzle.
Elsewhere, Eric Loves Cooking, at Portals 13 and 28, is adding the Detroit Steakhouse Burger with white cheddar and onion straws alongside the Woodward Wrap, which combines ranch-seasoned chicken tenders, ham, Swiss cheese and peppercorn mayonnaise. 1701 Deli is expanding its sandwich selection with a filet mignon roll featuring Boursin cheese and caramelized onions, and a corned beef stack on rye.
Restaurants broaden their menus for the new season
The refresh also reaches Little Caesars Arena’s sit-down dining venues. At Bell’s, new options range from a pastrami panini and halloumi hash stack to a Western fried chicken sandwich with barbecue sauce, bacon and cheddar. Its drinks additions include the Bell’s Arnold Palmer and Tequila Eastsider.
The Mixing Board is introducing sharing plates and a larger selection of main dishes. The menu includes artisan cultured butter with grilled sourdough, in-house prepared cheese and charcuterie accompaniments, fresh ricotta with winter citrus, and a Fondue Burger served on a square croissant. Other dishes include crispy Brussels sprouts with cranberry and goat cheese, bean cassoulet with chicken confit, and salmon with parsnip-vanilla purée and pumpkin cider glaze.
Visitors looking for pizza will find two additional New York-style choices at Mike’s Pizza Bar: sausage with roasted garlic and caramelized onions, and mushroom and goat cheese finished with a white truffle drizzle. UWM District Market is adding a Mediterranean Melt with halloumi and romesco, curried chicken salad, a peanut-butter-and-jam parfait and grab-and-go dishes and desserts.
New Pistons drinks and upgraded club and suite hospitality
Three Pistons-themed drinks will be offered at selected games during the season. The Motor City Heatwave Margarita mixes tequila, watermelon and hot honey; Pistons Pop combines vodka, lemonade, blue coconut and grenadine with a Bomb Pop garnish; and the Bad Boy Bucket is a shareable citrus-and-coconut cocktail presented in a souvenir basketball bucket.
Guests in the Fifth Third Players Club, Michigan First Credit Union Club and Rehmann Club will find additional specialty beverages, including Rock n Rye Old Fashion, Midtown Melon Margarita, Woodward Waffle Old Fashion and Corktown Spritz, with availability varying by club. Premium gelatin shots are another addition to the club-level offering.
Suite customers, meanwhile, will be able to choose a build-your-own ramen cart or a Mexicantown package featuring chicken and beef street tacos, charro beans, elote, citrus-marinated shrimp, Yucatan salad and churros. Seasonal and monthly specials are planned, with details to be communicated to suite holders.
The programme reflects the broader work of Delaware North Sportservice, the company’s sports-hospitality operation, which manages food, beverage, retail and premium guest experiences at sports venues internationally. For the Pistons’ new season, the principal change for ordinary ticket holders is greater choice across concessions and restaurants; premium club and suite additions are targeted at guests with access to those spaces.
