BTS Concerts Set the Stage for a Month of Island-Wide Arts, Attractions and Nightlife in Singapore

Singapore Tourism Board and HYBE are taking BTS THE CITY ARIRANG across the island from 1 to 31 December, alongside four sold-out National Stadium concerts.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SINGAPORE is scheduled for 1–31 December 2026, with concerts on 17, 19, 20 and 22 December.
  • Singapore Tourism Board and HYBE are coordinating themed experiences with eight tourism, cultural and nightlife partners.
  • Planned attractions include a Jewel Rain Vortex show, museum art trails, Universal Studios fireworks and Sentosa drone programming.
  • Thirteen Marina Bay and Singapore River landmarks are scheduled to glow ARIRANG red nightly from 8 to 22 December.

Four sold-out BTS concerts in December will be the centrepiece of a month-long visitor programme across Singapore, as cultural institutions, major attractions and nightlife venues prepare experiences inspired by the South Korean group. The initiative is designed to bring concert-related activity beyond the stadium and across several of the city-state’s visitor districts.

Running from 1 to 31 December 2026, BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SINGAPORE is a collaboration between the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and entertainment company HYBE. It will coincide with BTS’s four National Stadium performances on 17, 19, 20 and 22 December, all of which the organisers say have sold out. STB describes the initiative as Singapore’s largest island-wide fan activation for a recording artist and the programme’s only Southeast Asian stop in 2026.

From the airport and galleries to wildlife attractions

The range of participating venues gives the project a different shape from a conventional concert-week promotion. At Jewel Changi Airport, a light-and-music show will be staged at the Rain Vortex, creating an arrival-point experience for visitors passing through the airport complex. At Mandai Wildlife Reserve, the new immersive multimedia attraction Exploria will feature a landmark-themed BTS takeover.

In the civic and arts district, National Gallery Singapore is planning an art trail that pairs BTS music with works from Pop after Pop: Art around Us, while the National Museum of Singapore will present themed installations combining light and sound. These activities place music-inspired programming inside cultural venues rather than concentrating everything around a single performance site.

On Sentosa, Resorts World Sentosa will bring BTS-themed experiences to Universal Studios Singapore, including a fireworks display choreographed to the group’s music. The Sentosa Development Corporation is also planning a rave and drone show set to BTS tracks, a themed race and immersive installations elsewhere on the island.

Concert precincts and nightlife join the programme

The Kallang Group, which operates in the district surrounding the National Stadium, will introduce interactive experiences across multiple themed zones at The Kallang. Zouk Singapore will host opening- and closing-night takeovers, with music and experiential programming intended to extend the festivities into the evening.

The combination of attractions, museums, recreation sites and late-night venues gives visitors several ways to engage with the project before, between and after the four concert dates. It also presents a coordinated programme across a wider range of tourism businesses than the stadium itself.

Singapore’s waterfront will turn ARIRANG red

From 8 to 22 December, landmarks around Marina Bay and the Singapore River are scheduled to be illuminated in the project’s ARIRANG red each night. The participating locations include Anderson, Cavenagh, Clemenceau, Coleman, Elgin and Ord bridges, as well as The Helix Bridge, Gardens by the Bay and the Singapore Flyer.

Millenia Tower, OUE Bayfront, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore are also on the list. The nightly illumination period encompasses all four concert dates, making the waterfront installations a visible part of the wider programme even for visitors who are not attending a stadium performance.

Live entertainment as a destination-wide experience

The Singapore edition follows the introduction of HYBE’s BTS THE CITY ARIRANG format in Seoul in March 2026 and subsequent editions in Las Vegas, Busan, London and New York. Unlike a single concert activation, the format is designed to connect different parts of a host city through themed installations and activities.

Oliver Chong, STB’s Assistant Chief Executive for the International Group, called the Singapore collaboration the agency’s largest city-wide destination project with a partner for any recording artist. STB sees the event as part of its effort to strengthen Singapore’s position as a host for major live-entertainment experiences, while HYBE has described the city edition as a way for fans and visitors to participate beyond the concert venue.

The two organisations have worked together since 2024 on content, music-video productions and activities involving K-pop artists. This December’s project expands that relationship into a coordinated set of visitor experiences across eight named destination and lifestyle partners.

Exact operating schedules, prices and admission arrangements for individual activations have not yet been detailed in the announcement. HYBE’s official programme notice also says further information will follow. For visitors planning a December trip, those forthcoming details will determine how the different experiences can be combined into an itinerary beyond the sold-out concerts.
