Broomkit lets Mac owners test every feature for three days before paying once
Bangalore, India - Oct 08, 2026 (UTC) - DPR Software Labs OPC Private Limited, a software company registered in Bangalore, India, makes Broomkit, a disk cleaner and app uninstaller for Mac computers. A single developer designed the app and wrote it in Swift. It runs on macOS 14.0 or later and supports both Apple Silicon and Intel machines.
Broomkit is a Mac cleaner app for macOS that looks for reclaimable storage across 16 categories. The scan finds dependency folders and package caches developers collect over time, along with app caches, system caches, old installers, and duplicate files. Because the app scans the entire home folder, it also counts hidden directories and never counts the same path twice. When someone removes an app, the Uninstaller matches its leftover files by the exact bundle identifier or app name. Cleanup Manager gives every file its own tick box with search and sort, and Reclaim moves the chosen items to the Trash in three steps.
“Storage on a Mac tends to spread across dozens of folders that people rarely open. Broomkit gathers those folders in one place and lets the owner decide what stays. Files go to the Trash first, and we show the free space you will gain before anything is confirmed. Our aim is to give Mac owners a calm and clear way to get their disk space back,” said a spokesperson for Broomkit.
The app asks for no administrator password and installs no privileged helper. It adds no login item or launch agent, so it stops running once the user quits it. Any task that needs root access appears as a printed command for the user to run. Apple notarises Broomkit and signs it with a Developer ID. On a reference Mac with a 994 GB disk running macOS 26, a scan on 30 August 2026 found 13.5 GB of Chrome cache and 1.86 GB of leftovers from one code editor. Results will differ from one Mac to the next.
Once the trial ends, buyers can complete a Mac cleaner software license online through Dodo Payments without creating an account. A one-year licence for one Mac costs $34.95. Licences for two Macs and five Macs cost $54.95 and $89.95. Each one is a single payment that does not renew, and a licence can be deactivated and moved to another Mac. All sales are final, so the company encourages people to use the full trial before they buy.
