  2. HealthcareEverest Medicines Strengthens Its Cardiovascular Portfolio with CARDAMYST(R) Approved for the Conversion of Acute Symptomatic Episodes of PSVT to Sinus Rhythm in Adults in ChinaHONG KONG, Sept 3, 2026 - Everest Medicines today announced that China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved CARDAMYST(R) (etripamil) for the conversion of acute symptomatic episodes of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) to sinus rhythm in adults. As Everest's first innovative therapy approved in the cardiovascular field, CARDAMYST further expands the Company‘s cardiovascular portfolio. The approval marks another important milestone in the execution of Everest's commercialization strategy and reinforces the Company's capability to bring innovative therapies to patients in China. CARDAMYST (etripamil) nasal spray is a novel, rapid-acting calcium channel blocker administered as needed via a convenient, portable nasal spray. It offers rapid onset of action, favorable tolerability, and the potential for at-home self-administration, enhancing patient accessibility. CARDAMYST is currently the only self-administered treatment for adults with PSVT to rapidly treat episodes. Treatment effects observed as early as five minutes after administration, with nearly two-thirds of patients achieving conversion to sinus rhythm within 30 minutes, reducing the need for emergency medical interventions and filling a critical gap in out-of-hospital, self-administered treatment options for acute symptomatic episodes of PSVT in China. PSVT is a type of tachyarrhythmia characterized by the sudden onset and termination of episodes of rapid, regular heart rhythm. Approximately 2.3 to 4 per 1,000 individuals are affected by PSVT, representing an estimated 3 to 6 million patients in China. During episodes, the heart rate spike is unpredictable and may last several hours. The rapid heart rate often causes disabling severe palpitations, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, dizziness or lightheadedness, and distress, forcing patients to limit their daily activities. The management of acute PSVT episodes in China has long relied primarily on hospital-based emergency care, highlighting the need for an on-demand treatment option that patients can self-administer outside of healthcare settings. “The approval of CARDAMYST addresses a critical unmet need by introducing the first innovative therapy that enables patients to self-administer treatment for acute PSVT episodes in China,” said Professor Changsheng Ma, M.D., Principal Investigator of the Phase III JX02002 study, Director of Cardiology Department at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, and President of the Chinese Society of Cardiology, Chinese Medical Association, “Both the global pivotal Phase III RAPID trial and the China Phase III JX02002 study demonstrated its rapid onset, robust efficacy, and favorable safety profile. We believe this innovative therapy has the potential to transform the treatment paradigm for acute PSVT episodes by enabling timely, patient-initiated treatment, reducing the need for emergency medical intervention, and ultimately improving patients' quality of life.” “The approval of CARDAMYST marks an important milestone, introducing the first out-of-hospital, patient-administered treatment option for acute PSVT episodes in China,” said Mr. Rogers Yongqing Luo, Chief Executive Officer of Everest Medicines. “As the only innovative therapy currently available that enables patients to self-administer treatment for PSVT episodes outside of healthcare settings, CARDAMYST offers a new on-demand treatment option. With treatment effects observed as early as five minutes after administration, CARDAMYST enables patients to manage episodes outside of a healthcare setting, giving them greater control over their condition and potentially reshaping the treatment paradigm for PSVT in China. Leveraging our proven commercialization capabilities, we look forward to accelerating the launch of CARDAMYST in China to address the significant unmet needs of patients with PSVT and realize its long-term clinical and societal value." The approval of CARDAMYST was supported by the global pivotal Phase III RAPID trial and the Phase III JX02002 study in China. Both studies met their primary endpoints. The RAPID trial achieved its primary endpoint with 64% of participants who self-administered etripamil (N=99) converting from supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) to sinus rhythm within 30 minutes compared to 31% on placebo (N=85) (HR = 2.62; p<0.001). The study results were published in The Lancet in 2023. In the JX02002 study, among participants with PSVT episodes (N=84), a greater number of patients receiving etripamil achieved conversion to sinus rhythm within 30 minutes, compared with placebo (N=84) (hazard ratio [HR] = 3.002; p=0.0005). In December 2025, CARDAMYST was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), becoming the first and only self-administered nasal spray in more than 30 years capable of converting paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) to sinus rhythm in adults. CARDAMYST is also in Phase III clinical development for atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response (AFib-RVR), with positive Phase II results supporting its advancement. CARDAMYST has the potential to benefit more than 12 million patients in China, including those with PSVT and AFib-RVR. The approval of CARDAMYST(R) further strengthens Everest Medicines’ presence across the cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic (CKM) disease areas and broadens its innovative product portfolio. As the Company’s first innovative drug approved in the cardiovascular disease field, CARDAMYST(R) also complements the Company’s existing portfolio and creates opportunities for portfolio synergies. Leveraging its established commercialization capabilities, Everest Medicines will move forward with the launch of CARDAMYST(R) in China while advancing its development in additional cardiovascular indications, including AFib-RVR, to bring new treatment options to more patients with cardiovascular disease.
  3. HealthcareCTF Life's 'Aspiration Ride' Transforms Hong Kong's Iconic 'Ding Ding' into a Moving Celebration of AspirationsHONG KONG, Sept 3, 2026 - CTF Life unveiled the “Aspiration Ride”, a month-long themed tram inspired by its latest brand campaign, “Your Aspiration. Our Aspiration.”. Running from 2 to 29 September, the themed tram transforms one of the city’s most beloved means of transport into a moving celebration of the aspirations that inspire Hongkongers at every stage of life. The activation forms part of a broader integrated campaign that combines outdoor advertising and digital storytelling featuring influencers to illustrate how aspirations evolve through different life stages, inspiring audiences to reflect on their journeys and the support behind them. For many Hongkongers, the tram is more than part of the daily commute. It is a living theatre of everyday life: childhood journeys by the window, first jobs, new beginnings and quiet reflections between stops. For more than a century, the city’s “ding ding” has travelled through changing streetscapes and generations, silently keeping pace as aspirations have taken shape, evolved and been pursued. Building on this shared journey, the “Aspiration Ride” invites people across all life stages to reflect on their ambitions and the support that helps turn them into possibilities. Officially unveiled at the launch ceremony on 2 September, the tram features a vibrant exterior design filled with colourful illustrations and more than 100 aspirations submitted by citizens through CTF Life’s social media platforms. Set against a backdrop of Chinese composition paper, the messages bring personal aspirations to life across the city, transforming the tram into a moving canvas of dreams and possibilities. CTF Life’s management team also added their own aspirations to the tram exterior, joining a shared display of ambitions, both modest and momentous, that give life a sense of purpose. “Hong Kong’s tramways have long been woven into the city’s collective memory, carrying generations of people and the stories that have shaped their journeys,” said Ruby Kwan, Marketing Director, CTF Life. “Every aspiration tells a story. Some stay with us for life, while others evolve as we move through different stages and embrace new possibilities. Yet each has the power to inspire us to grow, explore and move forward with purpose. “The ‘Aspiration Ride’ is a key element of an integrated campaign designed to bring the conversation around aspirations into everyday life. Through outdoor advertising, creator collaborations and digital storytelling, we hope to encourage people to reflect on what matters most to them and recognise that every aspiration represents a future worth pursuing. At CTF Life, we are committed to walking alongside our customers through every life stage across our four brand pillars of Wellbeing, Growth, Health and Wealth, helping them pursue their aspirations with confidence by providing the right support along the way.” The campaign also includes a tram-shelter advertisement on Paterson Street in Causeway Bay, extending the activation into one of Hong Kong’s busiest districts. A series of promotional videos featuring influencers, CTF Life Planner, and other members of the community, each representing different life stages and perspectives, will further support post-launch awareness. Through personal stories spanning childhood curiosities, evolving ambitions and creative passions, the videos illustrate that aspirations do not follow a single path. Instead, they show how encouragement, preparation and support can help turn them into possibilities. Through digital and social media storytelling, these relatable journeys will invite audiences across the city to reflect on their own aspirations and the people who help make them possible. In a city that is always in motion, the “Aspiration Ride” offers a gentle reminder that it is worth looking up from the journey and remembering what set it in motion. Aspirations may differ in scale and destination, but each represents a meaningful reason to keep moving forward. Through the campaign, CTF Life aims to spark conversations on how aspirations evolve throughout life, and to encourage people to pursue them with confidence, knowing they are supported every step of the way. CTF Life’s Marketing Director Ruby Kwan hopes the “Aspiration Ride” can encourage people to reflect on what matters most to them CTF Life’s management team also added their own aspirations to the tram exterior CTF Life’s management team officiates the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official launch of the “Aspiration Ride” “Aspiration Ride” commences its citywide journey with over 100 aspirations submitted through CTF Life’s social media platforms
