WilliamsMarston Acquires ERP Services Practice from Charted
Acquisition expands the firm's ability to help clients transform their finance functions and provides a broader range of ERP solutions to support clients' evolving needs; Charted continues as an independent company focused on ERP-native AP automation
BOSTON, October 19, 2026--WilliamsMarston, a national leader in complex accounting, tax, technology, transaction, and valuation advisory services, announced its acquisition of the ERP Services practice from Charted, a provider of ERP-native AP automation software. The acquisition brings experienced ERP professionals to WilliamsMarston and further expands the firm's technology-enabled advisory capabilities. Charted continues to operate independently providing accounts payable software, with the two companies forming a strategic partnership focused on jointly supporting shared clients.
The Charted ERP Services team helps growing and middle-market companies implement, configure, and customize their ERP platforms. The team also provides managed services, maintenance support, training, and advisory services to organizations using these platforms.
The addition strengthens WilliamsMarston's ability to help clients address critical finance function needs and complements the firm's existing capabilities across the Office of the CFO and Controller. It also provides a platform for WilliamsMarston to further expand its AI-enabled ERP capabilities over time, including through its Finance as a Service (FaaS) practice, which provides outsourced operational and strategic finance and accounting support to high-growth and early-stage companies seeking to scale efficiently without significant internal headcount or infrastructure.
"Our clients need more than an ERP implementation, they need a partner who can provide the expertise and ongoing support to help their systems keep pace as their businesses change," said Scott Grillo, Managing Director, ERP Services at WilliamsMarston. "Joining WilliamsMarston gives us the opportunity to combine our ERP experience with the firm's extensive capabilities, creating new ways to support both our existing clients and companies we haven't yet had the opportunity to serve. Together, we can help clients address a wider range of needs, from FP&A and transaction advisory to tax and AI-enabled ERP strategy, while continuing to deliver the responsiveness and service they value."
The acquisition also brings together complementary expertise across technology, finance, and advisory services, creating opportunities to support clients at different stages of their growth and transformation.
