TRISTAR Insurance Group Appoints Viviane Ruiz as Senior Vice President of Managed Care
Veteran TPA Executive Brings 25+ Years of Insurance, Operations, and Technology Leadership to Nation's Largest Privately Held TPA
LONG BEACH, Calif., October 26, 2026--TRISTAR Insurance Group, Inc., the largest privately held, independent third-party claims administrator in the United States, today announced the appointment of Viviane Ruiz as Senior Vice President of Managed Care, effective immediately.
Ruiz joins TRISTAR from Davies North America, where she served as President of Workers' Compensation, Casualty, and Managed Care, with full P&L accountability across multiple operating entities under distinct business names within Davies' global TPA organization.

Ruiz spent 16 years at Brown & Brown Insurance, where she held combined COO and CIO responsibility for the Services Segment. During her tenure, she led enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation, and growth initiatives across a large national, multi-entity organization, advancing from IT leadership into operations and executive P&L leadership. Her career began in IT, giving her a rare ability to bridge technical possibility with business execution at scale.
At Davies, Ruiz consistently drove innovation through AI-enabled workflow automation, claims platform modernization, and strategic vendor realignment across complex national programs. She also led business development efforts that translated competitive proposals and contract negotiations into sustained top-line growth, while directing cost-saving and operational efficiency initiatives that improved margins without compromising service delivery.

Ruiz holds a Master's in Health Information Technology, an MBA, and a BS in Computer Science. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
