T-Mobile Shakes Up Wireless Again with First-Ever T-Mix: Built for Value, Powered by Customer Choice

Business Wire

The industry disruptor ushers in a new era of personalized wireless, giving customers more choice over their benefits and device promotions with the flexibility to change their selections

T-Mix brings together the widest range of benefits in wireless with an industry-first combination of partnerships — from Apple, Delta, DoorDash, ESPN, Google, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, Paramount+, SiriusXM, XBOX and YouTube — all on America's Best Network

BELLEVUE, Wash., October 26, 2026--After decades of rigid one-size-fits-all wireless plans, today, T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) is mixing it up with T-Mix, a first-of-its-kind approach that gives customers more choice and flexibility across three T-Mix plans — Standard, More and Loaded — available in November.

Built on the foundation of America's Best Network and T-Mobile's member perks, including T-Mobile Tuesdays which offered over $900 worth of freebies per customer last year, the all-new T-Mix program adds a giant leap in personalization with the introduction of Picks. With T-Mix, customers can use Picks toward a range of benefits spanning streaming, music, gaming, food delivery, sports, AI, wireless benefits and device promotions — with the freedom to choose when and which line uses Picks to get a new phone. T-Mix is the only wireless plan that lets customers choose which benefits are included in their plans.

T-Mobile also breaks another wireless tradition: customers feeling stuck with fixed benefits between plan changes — something that happens, on average, only about once every six years. That can leave customers paying for things they don't use, while missing out on value they actually want. Unlike the traditional industry's a la carte paid add-ons, with T-Mix, benefits are included in the plans and customers are empowered to change their benefit mix every three months as their needs and preferences change.

"The wireless industry has spent decades telling customers what their plan should be — even though 84% of consumers surveyed want more control over what they pay for," said Allan Samson, Chief Marketing Officer, T-Mobile. "One-size-fits-all was simple for the industry, but for customers it turned into one-size-fits-nobody. T-Mix flips that model, giving customers more say in what matters to them and plans that they can change as their lives change. This is another big step in our journey to make wireless value more relevant, more flexible and built around the customer."

Customer priorities continue to evolve and in this challenging economy, value is increasingly important. Across the industry, consumers are keeping their phones longer, about three years on average, while spending an average of $219 a month on a wide range of subscriptions from streaming to gaming and tech. That means customers are looking for more value from their wireless plans that goes beyond the next phone upgrade.
