Strata Mental Health Solutions Awarded U.S. Healthcare Provider Training Grant from Compass Pathways to Develop Provider Training for COMP360
Strata's implementation platform includes provider training, certification, site readiness, and ongoing clinical support; its founders worked with Compass on the COMP360 training program for clinicians, who supported and monitored participants in Compass' clinical trials.
ATLANTA, September 11, 2026--Strata Mental Health Solutions, the expert-led training and implementation partner preparing clinical networks to deliver psychedelic treatments, today announced it has been awarded one of the five U.S. HCP training grants awarded by Compass Pathways (Nasdaq: CMPS) to develop U.S. health care provider training programs for COMP360, Compass' investigational psilocybin treatment, if approved. Strata's founders worked with Compass on the development of the provider training program for COMP360 clinical trials. Their team is deeply experienced in training clinicians and providing direct care to patients receiving psychedelic treatments in regulated clinical settings.
Compass has reported positive results from two Phase 3 trials of COMP360. Its NDA submission is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2026 under a rolling submission and FDA review pathway, and commercial launch is expected in the first half of 2027. The training-partner grant program is intended to support the provider training of COMP360, if approved.
Psychedelic treatments are a novel approach to psychiatric care, where medication is delivered in multi-hour administration sessions under the care of trained, multidisciplinary teams, with additional sessions needed to prepare patients before and support them after receiving the medication. This is the treatment model that was used in clinical development. Strata is experienced to train the clinicians, prepare the clinics, and provide the ongoing support to translate the clinical trial model to real-world clinical practice to ensure responsible and effective dissemination of psychedelic treatment.
Under the grant, Strata will develop provider training programs for that delivery model. The work will be done by a team that contributed to the development of the COMP360 trial program. Strata plans to base its training program directly on the approach used in the trials, which will be taught by clinical faculty who have direct experience with the COMP360 clinical development program. Treatment teams in clinics will receive the same support as the teams in the trials, patients receive care that follows the standard set in the research.
