Press release
JUST AHEAD OF PARIS GAMES WEEK, RAYMAN LEGENDS RETOLD CELEBRATES FRENCH CREATIVITY WITH A PLAYFUL IN-GAME TRIBUTE
LONDON, UK – 21st OCTOBER, 2026 – Today, Ubisoft revealed new cosmetic outfits coming to Rayman Legends Retold at launch, giving players another reason to jump into the beloved platforming adventure.
Available for both Rayman and Barbara, the new “baguette” outfits offer a playful nod to a fellow game created in Montpellier. Conceived as a tribute from one French studio to another, these costumes celebrate the creativity, passion, and unmistakable French touch that continue to make the country’s video game industry shine on the global stage.
With their distinctive look and tongue-in-cheek spirit, the “baguette” outfits reflect the humor, charm, and craft that have long been part of Rayman’s DNA. Subtly, they honour a title that holds a special place in the hearts of the development team.
“This isn’t a painting, this is reality!” Players will be able to experience the adventure as Rayman and Barbara sporting their “baguette” outfits from day one, adding a unique local flavour to their journey through the worlds of Rayman Legends Retold.
The “baguette” outfits will be available to all players at launch when Rayman Legends Retold releases on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 3rd December, 2026.
Co-led by Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan, and launching on 3rd December, 2026, Rayman Legends Retold is a reimagining of the acclaimed platformer, filled with new content and narrative twists. Players will enjoy fast-paced action, epic adventure, delightful chaos, and colourful surprises, bringing new ways to challenge oneself or with family and friends. Indeed, thanks to 4 players in couch co-op and face off in the improved Kung Foot, Rayman Legends Retold brings together players to create unforgettable and fun moments.
