アドビ（Nasdaq: ADBE）（本社：米国カリフォルニア州サンノゼ、以下アドビ）とNVIDIAは本日、提携を拡大し、アドビの主力ツールであるAdobe Photoshop、Adobe Premiere、Adobe Substance 3D、Frame.io、Adobe Brand Conciergeなどを最適化し、AIを活用した制作やパーソナライゼーションのさらなる高速化を実現することを発表しました。

本取り組みは、アドビとNVIDIAが2026年3月に発表した戦略的提携をさらに拡大するものです。両社は、アドビのクリエイティブおよびマーケティング向けワークフロー、モデル、テクノロジーと、NVIDIAのオープンモデル、ライブラリ、研究能力、アクセラレーテッドコンピューティングを融合させ、動画、画像、3Dをはじめとする多様なクリエイティブコンテンツの制作、マーケティングにおけるワークフローを加速します。この提携には、Frame.ioにおけるメディアの取り込みとインテリジェンス機能のためのGPUアクセラレーションに加え、Adobe Substance 3D、Adobe Firefly Foundry、および企業向けの3Dデジタルツインワークフローに関する継続的な取り組みも含まれています。

NVIDIAが今月上旬に発表したNVIDIA RTX SparkスーパーチップのパワーをアドビのクリエイティブアプリケーションであるAdobe Photoshop、Adobe Premiere、Adobe Substance 3Dに導入します。RTXによる高速化が施され、RTX Sparkの統合メモリとAIコンピュート能力を最大限に活用するように最適化されたこれらのアプリケーションは、AI処理、編集、カラー、エフェクト処理を最大2倍高速化し、クリエイターがより迅速に試行錯誤を行い、クリエイティブなフローを維持できるよう支援します。

アドビは、GPUアクセラレーションによる合成処理を軸にAdobe Photoshopを再設計し、「削除ツール」による不要な要素の削除から、キャンバス上で「ガウスぼかし」や「ライトリーク」などのエフェクトを直接適用する作業まで、クリエイティブタスクの処理速度と応答性を向上させました。

Adobe Premiereにおける、再生、レンダリング、エフェクト、カラー、AIツールなど、最も負荷の高いポストプロダクションワークフローの一部は、RTXによる高速化が施され、RTX Spark向けに最適化されています。これにより、「スピーチを強調」や「オブジェクトマスク」といったPremiereで人気のある機能の速度向上が実現しています。また、Adobe Substance 3D Painterでは、RTX Sparkによって、テクスチャリング作業の中でも特に負荷の高い工程が高速化されます。

Frame.ioとNVIDIAによるクラウド動画ワークフローの高速化

また、アドビはNVIDIAのアクセラレーテッドコンピューティング技術を活用し、Frame.ioにおけるクラウドメディア処理とインテリジェントなコンテンツ検索を高速化します。これにより、制作チームは拡大し続けるメディアライブラリからコンテンツをより迅速に見つけ、活用できるようになります。更新されたFrame.ioのパイプラインでは、ハードウェアアクセラレーションによるデコードを行うNVIDIA NVDECや、コンテンツの前処理および埋め込み生成にCUDA™を搭載したNVIDIA TensorRT™など、NVIDIAのビデオアクセラレーション技術が採用されています。

計算負荷の高いビデオデコード、前処理、埋め込みコード生成をNVIDIA GPUに移行することで、Frame.ioはメディアの処理を高速化し、検索するまでの時間を短縮すると同時に、大規模なコンテンツライブラリ全体にわたってより応答性の高い検索を実現します。

Frame.ioのトランスコードおよび検索ワークロードの一部について得られた初期のパフォーマンス結果は、下記の通りです：

1. エンベディング生成速度が約5倍向上

2. P95の処理レイテンシが4から5倍改善

3. 検索プロキシのサイズが約80％縮小

クリエイティブチームは、こうしたメリットにより、アップロードされたコンテンツをより早く検索でき、大規模なライブラリの更新をより効率的に行い、メディアの量が増えても、コンテンツの発見やレビューをスムーズに行えるようになります。
