Nearly 2,000 attendees gather in Orlando to learn about The AI-Powered PracticeTM and hear from keynote speaker Abby Wambach

ORLANDO, Fla., October 16, 2026--ModMed®, a leading provider of software and services to specialty medical practices, today announced the opening of MOMENTUM 2026, its largest annual user conference to date. Nearly 2,000 attendees have gathered at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando. From October 16–18, specialty physicians, practice administrators, and clinical staff will see live demonstrations of The AI-Powered Practice, take part in hands-on training, and hear ModMed's latest product announcements.

"MOMENTUM has never been bigger, and that tells you exactly where specialty medicine is headed. Physicians, administrators, and their teams come to Orlando to see The AI-Powered Practice working inside real specialty workflows," said Justin Steinman, Chief Marketing Officer at ModMed. "We're building The AI-Powered Practice one specialty at a time, because a dermatology practice and a urology practice don't run on the same workflows. We're so excited to share our progress with our clients and learn from them where we can get even better."

Growing momentum across specialty practices

Specialty practices face rising costs, staffing constraints, reimbursement pressure, and growing payer complexity. Many still run documentation, scheduling, billing, and reporting on separate systems. That creates duplicate work and delays that affect both staff and revenue.

The AI-Powered Practice is designed to help embed AI across those workflows, helping to eliminate the excessive administrative burden while providers and staff review and approve the final work.

ModMed has added hundreds of new practices in 2026 and shipped multiple AI-powered products this year. Its specialty-specific platform is trusted by nearly 50,000 providers. ModMed continues to invest in the core products that these providers use every day. Its engineering teams have delivered nearly 20% more core feature enhancements per month in 2026 than in 2025. ModMed Scribe, introduced at MOMENTUM 2025, has now been used by providers to capture more than 2.5 million patient visits.

AI-Powered Practice capabilities previewed on the main stage

During the opening session at MOMENTUM, ModMed leaders will walk through a simulated orthopedic patient journey, from scheduling to final claim. The demonstration will show how multiple capabilities are designed to work together, including:
