LOS ANGELES & BOSTON, October 21, 2026--MedTech Innovator (MTI), the world's largest and most impactful accelerator for medical technology startups, today announced the winners of its 2026 Grand Prize and Best Video Award at The MedTech Conference powered by AdvaMed, the largest annual gathering of medtech leaders in North America.
Feminai received the $350,000 non-dilutive Grand Prize in the Early-Stage Competition, selected in real time by a live audience of industry leaders following pitches from the five finalists. The other finalists Galenband, Urologic Health, and Vivifi Medical, each received $25,000.
"For too long, women have had to rely on healthcare systems that weren't designed around their lives," said Dr. Karny Ilan, co-founder and CEO of Feminai. "We founded Feminai with a bold vision: to make breast health accessible to every woman, wherever she is. Winning the MedTech Innovator Grand Prize is an incredible validation of that vision and of the years of determination, innovation, and hard work our team has put into making it a reality. We're deeply grateful to the MedTech Innovator community, whose mentorship and support have helped us turn an ambitious idea into a technology with the potential to change millions of lives. This recognition brings us one step closer to a future where every woman can take control of her breast health, on her own terms."
The competition finals took place at The MedTech Conference in Boston, with finalists presenting their value propositions and answering questions from a panel of industry experts.
"Congratulations to Feminai for winning this year's Grand Prize," said Paul Grand, founder and CEO of MedTech Innovator. "Feminai's win shows that sophisticated medtech industry leaders recognize the value proposition of bringing clinically meaningful breast cancer screening into women's homes through a wearable sensor patch and AI-driven analysis. Each of our finalists demonstrated the remarkable innovation happening across the medtech ecosystem and we are proud to support them."
GenesisTissue and Imagine Devices won the Best Video Award and $5,000 each after competing against 14 other finalists. All 65 MTI cohort companies were eligible to participate in the competition, which spotlights creative and compelling storytelling from medtech innovators.
