MCP Talent Agency Helps Organizations Plan Corporate Entertainment Events That Fit Their Audience

For over 40 years, the MCP Talent Agency, a family-run talent agency and speakers bureau in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, has helped plan unforgettable events for discerning audiences. As an event planner, you know the moment the lights go down and a performer steps on stage. A few minutes later, either the room buzzes with life or guests pull out their phones. That's when your guests start making memories of the entire event. This is where the MCP Talent Agency steps in.

The agency arranges performers, including comedians, magicians, hypnotists, mentalists, show bands, dueling pianos, game shows, emcees, and variety shows, for corporate functions in Canada, the United States, and other parts of the world. First, the agency inquires about the target audience, event objectives, and budget before recommending a performer to the client. Each type of function needs a unique performer, whether it is a sales kick-off, awards ceremony, or Christmas function. Engineers may be affected differently than salespeople by a particular comedian’s performance. MCP Talent Agency considers these factors when preparing a short list of performers for corporate entertainment events. After selecting a performer, the agency arranges contracts, fees, billing, and logistics.

“Most planners don’t lose sleep over finding an entertainer. They lose sleep over picking the wrong one and watching the room go quiet. We spend time learning who will be in those seats before we suggest anyone. When the act fits the audience, people stay, they laugh, and they talk about the night long after it ends,” said a spokesperson for MCP Talent Agency.

The agency also offers a replacement guarantee. If a performer can’t appear for reasons outside anyone’s control, the team works to find a suitable replacement so the event can go ahead. Booking through MCP Talent Agency has no additional costs because the agency receives a commission from the performer's fees. It has performers at different budgets, starting at less than $3,500, and many can perform live or virtually. Prior to the event, the agency organizes a conference call where the performer will learn about the company, the audience, and the style expected.
