Lennar Breaks Ground on The Premiere at Monmouth, Bringing New Homes to Fort Monmouth's Revitalization

Lennar, one of the nation's leading homebuilders, today broke ground on The Premiere at Monmouth, a new community of single-family homes and townhomes within the 1,226-acre Fort Monmouth redevelopment. Rising on a site that sat vacant for more than two decades, the community will introduce new homeownership opportunities as the former U.S. Army installation transforms into a vibrant destination to live, work and play. With convenient access to shopping, dining, entertainment and employment opportunities, The Premiere at Monmouth will feature 32 single-family homes and 188 townhomes. Sales are anticipated to begin in late fall 2026.

Lennar New Jersey–New York Division leaders joined Eatontown Mayor Anthony Talerico Jr. and municipal and community representatives for the ceremonial groundbreaking, marking a milestone in the continued transformation of Fort Monmouth into a destination.

Now, after many years of lying vacant, the Borough of Eatontown is ready to welcome new families to this area," said Eatontown Mayor Anthony Talerico Jr. "I hope those that move into The Premiere at Monmouth find themselves as welcome in our community as those that have come before them."

The Premiere at Monmouth is approximately five miles from the Jersey Shore and near an expanding mix of shopping, dining, entertainment and employment opportunities, with nearby NJ Transit service and commuter routes to New York City. The community will also be minutes from the future Netflix Studios East campus, a 292-acre production facility expected to generate significant employment and economic activity in the region.
