Jolene.pro Adds Stat and KPI Views for Spreadsheet Analysis

San Francisco, California, 2026-10-19 — Jolene.pro has added Stat and KPI presentation formats to its spreadsheet analysis workflow, giving teams a compact way to present important numbers from Excel and CSV files while retaining references to the underlying workbook data.

The Stat format presents a single metric and can include a comparison with another period. The KPI format compares a result against a defined target and can display a supporting trend. These formats are intended for recurring measures such as revenue, expenses, pipeline value, overdue invoices, customer counts and budget variance.

Each result can include references to the source sheets, rows and cells used in the calculation. This allows someone reviewing the metric to return to the relevant workbook data instead of treating the displayed number as an isolated summary.

The update addresses a common reporting problem in which a metric is copied from a spreadsheet into a presentation or dashboard, separating the final number from the data used to calculate it. Keeping the source references with the result gives reviewers a direct way to investigate unexpected changes or confirm how a figure was produced.

“A compact metric is useful only when someone can verify where it came from,” said Yugesh Krishna, Head of AI and GTM at Jolene.pro. “The Stat and KPI formats are designed to keep the headline number and its supporting spreadsheet data connected.”

The platform analyses Excel and CSV files containing multiple worksheets, separate tables and irregular layouts. Users can focus an analysis on one worksheet with the @sheet command or select several relevant sheets through the Scope control.

For example, a finance team may calculate sales from one worksheet and returns from another before presenting net sales as a KPI. The resulting answer can identify the source areas used for both parts of the calculation. An operations team can use the same format to compare completed work against a monthly target or track an overdue amount against the previous reporting period.

Stat and KPI results join the existing visual formats available for workbook analysis, including bar charts, line and area charts, pie charts and heatmaps. Visual output remains optional, allowing users to choose between a direct written answer, a compact metric or a chart based on the reporting task.

Analyses can also be saved and run again when a newer version of a workbook becomes available. If worksheet or column names change, saved queries can continue where the required data remains identifiable. The system warns the user when the new workbook structure differs enough to require review.

The Stat and KPI formats are now available within the Jolene.pro spreadsheet analysis workflow.
