Photon Loreworks invites players into a hand-drawn, first-person dungeon crawler where their fading inner heart light changes the world around them.

October 19, 2026 — Independent developer Photon Loreworks is showcasing Heart Light: Knight of the Gnomes during Steam Next Fest, with a free PC demo available on Steam and a newly released official trailer.
 

Set in a grim fairy-tale world inherited by gnomes after humanity vanished, Heart Light sends players into forgotten underground halls filled with secrets, puzzles, and dangerous creatures. Players explore, gather equipment, and wield weapons and magic while protecting their heart's inner light.
 

Heart Light is a solo indie project featuring the developer’s own hand-drawn artwork and original music. The public demo introduces players to its world, exploration, and combat.
 

The full game remains in development and is available to wishlist on Steam.
