Vienna, Austria - October 20th, 2026: The finish line is in sight! The Gothic – A Shadow's Quest crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound wraps up this Friday, October 23rd, 2026, at 3 PM CEST, and every single stretch goal has already been unlocked, including the final Game Master Set!

Here's the catch: The board game won't be available at retail, so don't miss out!
But there's one last surprise: If the campaign reaches €700,000, all boss figures will get a little upgrade – literally! We'll make them a centimeter taller, whether they're made of cardboard, acrylic, or PVC.

There's also good news for backers in the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Denmark, and Slovenia: Shipping costs have been reduced to just €9 for the Campfire, Old Camp, and Ore Baron Editions, as well as the Mini-Pack, and €12 for the All-In Edition.

Gothic – A Shadow's Quest is being crafted by THQ Nordic’s Board Game division, the creative team behind the critically acclaimed Darksiders – The Forbidden Land. Additionally, the developers of the highly successful video game Gothic 1 Remake gave a lot of creative input to make sure, Gothic – A Shadow's Quest comes with the iconic Gothic-feeling.
