GAYFOLK Announces a New Single Every Week From an Imaginary Queer Planet, With Madrid Trilogy Complete at 275 Tracks
Madrid, Spain, 2026-10-19 — GAYFOLK, the independent project of Madrid-based queer artist Mike Sain’t Louis, announces the continuation of its weekly schedule: a new self-produced single every week, each one expanding an imaginary planet that exists only through music.
The habit has already produced a complete trilogy: “Descubierto un nuevo planeta llamado Gayfolk” (90 tracks), “Ojalá se pudiera viajar a Gayfolk” (86 tracks) and “El día de la liberación” (99 tracks) — 275 tracks of Spanish-language alternative pop crossing copla, electropop and camp, all self-written, self-produced and self-released on the artist’s own label, without intermediaries. The wider catalogue already exceeds 273 songs and 276 self-made official videos.
Rather than a concept album, GAYFOLK works as serialized worldbuilding: every song describes a place, a ritual or an inhabitant of the planet, and every weekly single adds a new chapter.
