Charted Announces Full Focus on AP Automation, Sells ERP Services Practice to WilliamsMarston
Charted continues as an independent software company and forms a strategic partnership with WilliamsMarston
BOSTON, October 19, 2026--Charted, a leading ERP-native AP automation software company, today announced it has sold its ERP Services practice to WilliamsMarston, a leading accounting, tax, technology, transaction and valuation advisory firm. Charted continues to operate as an independent company focused on its AP automation software. The two companies have also formed a strategic partnership to refer clients to each other and support ERP customers together. Charted and WilliamsMarston are working directly with each services client to support them through the transition.
The Charted AP automation business stays with Charted, including its products, support and customer experience teams. AP automation customers will not be impacted and will continue to work with the same suite of AP automation products and the same team.
"We started this company as an ERP consulting firm in 2016, and the services team is a big part of how we got here, so this wasn't a small decision," said Bernardo Enciso, founder and CEO of Charted. "Our software is now the core of the business, and the best thing we can do for our customers and partners is put all of our energy into the product. I'm confident our consulting services clients are in good hands, and our software customers will see an accelerated pace of innovation and product releases. We're excited for Charted to continue to lead the way with the best ERP-native AP Automation solutions."
Recent Charted product launches and updates include the expansion of e-invoicing to 11 countries across Europe, bulk vendor onboarding, new customizable settings including segmented views, inline corrections and comments, and a new user interface. The sale of ERP Services will enable Charted to invest further in product innovation, maintaining focus on enabling finance teams to get the most out of their ERP with automation and AI-enabled solutions designed to scale.
"As companies navigate increasingly complex environments for technology-enabled finance, they need a partner who brings a business-first perspective to address their data, technology, and security needs as well as appropriate AI-enablement," said Sanjay Ramaswamy, CEO at WilliamsMarston. "We're excited to welcome the ERP Services team to WilliamsMarston, whose deep expertise and people-focused approach will strengthen our ability to help clients connect their finance strategy, systems, and operations from implementation through ongoing support and transformation."
