- Beholder Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary With a New Digital Comic
Press release
The Ministry-issued illustrated handbook brings the series' shadowy art, dark satire, and familiar faces to Steam on November 9
[October 21, 2026] — To mark the 10th anniversary of the Beholder series, Alawar today announced Beholder: The Landlord's Handbook, an all-new digital comic launching on Steam on November 9.
Presented as an illustrated field manual for novice apartment managers, The Landlord's Handbook is designed to resemble an authentic government reference issued by the Ministry. It combines sequential storytelling with in-universe instructions and advice, offering a new perspective on the everyday duties of a landlord in the world of Beholder.
The handbook explores the surveillance and scrutiny taking place beyond the closed doors of an apartment building – from overheard conversations and prohibited habits to the private lives of its tenants. Its illustrated stories retain the original game's distinctive shadowy visual style, dark humor, and familiar faces.
Beholder: The Landlord's Handbook releases on Steam on November 9. Additional announcements celebrating the 10th anniversary of the series will be shared at a later date.
