Americas Cardroom's Halloween Special Sends 367 Players to Day 2

Daily flights continue through November 1 in three Mystery PKO tournaments.

San Jose, Costa Rica – Wednesday, October 21, 2026

Americas Cardroom�s Halloween Special has recorded 367 Day 2 qualifiers since starting flights opened last Sunday, with more flights available daily. Across the three Mystery PKO tournaments, entries reached 3,215 by Tuesday morning as players built stacks for the Sunday, Nov. 1 bounty phase.

The lowest buy-in has attracted the most entries so far. The $5.50 tournament, carrying a $50,000 guarantee, has drawn 2,057 entries and advanced 248 players. It is one of three events offering a combined $650,000 in guarantees.

The $109 tournament holds the largest guarantee at $500,000. Its opening action has produced 622 entries and 75 qualifiers. The $33 tournament offers $100,000 guaranteed and has recorded 536 entries, with 44 players qualifying for Day 2.

Players can enter multiple Day 1 flights and combine the chip stacks that qualify. No bounties are awarded during Day 1, and players begin Day 2 with $0 in accumulated Progressive Bounty. The format then combines the hidden rewards of Mystery Bounties with visible bounties that grow through eliminations.

Each qualifying knockout reveals a mystery prize. The player making the elimination collects half immediately; the other half is placed on that player�s head as a visible Progressive Bounty. Collecting a mystery prize therefore also creates a bounty that another player can pursue.

If an opponent has already accumulated a Progressive Bounty before being knocked out, that amount follows the same division. The eliminator receives half immediately and adds half to their own bounty.
