Americas Cardroom's Dual Venom PKOs Top Guarantees With $6.86 Million in Prize Pools

Chance Kornuth leads PLO into Day 2, with fellow ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker fourth in chips.

Americas Cardroom�s Dual Venom PKOs have each exceeded their guarantee heading into Day 2, building combined prize pools of $6,862,500. Sunday�s final flights brought the $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold�em event to $5,357,500 and the $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event to $1,505,000.

Together, the tournaments exceeded their advertised guarantees by $362,500. Each carries a $2,650 buy-in, with the NLH field totaling 2,143 entries and the PLO event attracting 602.

Day 2 begins today at 1:05 p.m. ET. There are 319 players returning in NLH and 72 in PLO, where ACR Pros Chance Kornuth and Chris Moneymaker hold two of the four largest stacks.

Kornuth, playing as LawyerDad68, takes the PLO lead into Day 2 with 9,172,216 chips. Haftbefehl follows with 8,457,419, ahead of NewYorkMidgets with 7,513,919. Moneymaker enters fourth with 7,062,845.

The PLO players are 11 eliminations away from the 61 regular-prize payouts. Its prize pool is split between $752,500 in regular prizes and $752,500 in bounties, with a listed first-place regular payout of $128,622 before bounty winnings.

In NLH, owens9397 returns with the largest stack at 7,413,966. Infliponcio is second with 6,174,844, followed by c4trups!! with 6,066,954. The event pays 266 places and allocates $2,678,750 each to regular prizes and bounties. First place is listed at $332,932, excluding bounties.

NLH Day 3 is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 1:05 p.m. ET. Both tournaments reach their final tables Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 4:05 p.m. ET; PLO has no Day 3.
