Angle Health and Transcarent Partner to Expand Access to High-Quality Surgical and MSK Care for Small and Midsize Employers
Partnership gives Angle Health members access to comprehensive musculoskeletal care, expert surgical guidance and coordinated recovery support—benefits traditionally reserved for large employers
SAN FRANCISCO, October 15, 2026--Angle Health, the first vertically integrated AI platform for healthcare benefits, and Transcarent, the first agentic AI-powered health and care platform, today announced a partnership to give Angle Health members greater access to high quality, comprehensive and coordinated MSK (musculoskeletal) and surgical care. Beginning January 1, 2027, Angle Health members will have access to Transcarent's integrated care offering through the partnership. This partnership brings a level of care and support traditionally reserved for employees of large enterprises to small and midsize businesses. As Angle Health's MSK & Surgery Center of Excellence partner, Transcarent provides an integrated, elective care experience that helps members navigate their MSK care journey, from early intervention and treatment through surgery and recovery. When surgery is needed, members receive dedicated clinical guidance and support from initial consultation through recovery.
For patients, navigating MSK care and surgery involves a series of complex, high-stakes decisions, from choosing the right treatment path and finding an experienced specialist to coordinating care across multiple providers. For employers, the challenges extend to cost, with MSK treatments accounting for nearly 15% of total medical expenditures, according to a January 2026 analysis by benefits consulting firm Segal. Through the partnership, Angle Health members will have access, beginning January 1, 2027, to orthopedic consultations, expert medical opinions and virtual physical therapy, as well as Transcarent's surgical Centers of Excellence across clinical categories.
The quality and availability of typical MSK and surgical care can vary significantly by geography, making it difficult to know where to turn. The Angle Health and Transcarent partnership is designed to simplify that journey, helping members access expert guidance, identify the right care path and connect with high-quality providers for their individual needs.
"Where someone lives or the size of the company they work for should not determine the quality of healthcare they can access," said Ty Wang, co-founder & CEO of Angle Health. "Partnering with Transcarent gives our members more direct access to expert guidance, high-quality providers and coordinated support during some of the most important healthcare decisions they will have to make."
